    3. What are the selection criteria for Gigi Paris jewelry?

We select for you as we would for us. We only put jewelry on the platform that we would have liked to wear, at prices at which we would have bought them. We share with you our criteria below.

The Gigi Paris selection is done in 3 stages (and in this order):

    • La quality of the jewel is satisfactory: the jewel is functional (fasteners and clasps), the colors are brilliant, the stones are correctly set / glued, etc. We have a preference for heavy jewelry in terms of weight and fear above all the "cheap" effect
    • The jewel is a small beauty : here no old stuff, no general public. We are convinced that each style has its moment of glory and we select the pieces that appeal today. As enthusiasts, we love timeless pieces and spot them faster than light. As a curator, we spend hours following the emergence of new trends to offer cutting-edge selections.
    • The jewel corresponds to our range of price : we want to keep a certain consistency in terms of price. It is very important to us that our client pays a price consistent with the object acquired and the work provided by the intermediaries. We have established price lists taking into account several variables: material, type of jewel, size, weight, brand, etc. So if for one reason or another the jewel cannot fit into a price range, we prefer to exclude it.

However, and as we repeat, at Gigi Paris we don't like rules. It happens, for example, that we find jewelry so beautiful that we want to share it with you despite small stains or small chips. In this case, the defects of the objects will always be highlighted in the photos and in the description with great concern for transparency and the price will obviously be amended accordingly. The discount amount is mentioned in our description. On these pieces, very often we do not make a margin, but we hope to at least make a happy one :)

    4. How do we guarantee the quality of Gigi Paris jewelry?

For the moment all the pieces sold on the platform go physically through Gigi Paris. That's when we do the quality checks. Among them :

    • Testing materials with our first partner, Salomé's dad, co-founder (and yes, with us family and transmission are strong values). Papa has been an antique dealer and gold buyer for over 40 years. For the stones, we confirm with the gemologist cousin. No no we are not kidding.
    • Test and validation or change of weak points potential (fasteners and clasps, links etc.)
    • In case of default and if we want to share the piece, they are identified and featured in the ad. For example, it happens that we find a piece of jewelry so beautiful that we want to share it with you despite small stains or small chips. In this case, the object's defects will always be highlighted in the photos and in the description with great care for transparency and the price will obviously be amended accordingly. The discount amount is mentioned in our description. On these parts, very often we do not make a margin, but we hope at least to make a happy one.

    5. How does GIGI PARIS define its prices?

At Gigi Paris we want to keep a certain consistency in terms of price. It is very important to us that our client pays a price consistent with the object acquired and the work provided by the intermediaries. We have established fee schedules taking into account several variables: material, type of jewel, size, weight, brand, etc. So if for one reason or another the jewel cannot fit into a price range, we prefer to exclude it.

    6. What is GIGI PARIS's policy regarding the carbon footprint of deliveries?

We offset our carbon footprint. We decarbonize all our shipments.
