Nina Ricci's story: Maria Nielli, born in Turin in 1883, will become Nina Ricci when she arrives in Paris. It was in 1932 that she created the eponymous Haute Couture House at 20 rue des Capucines in Paris. The collections are a clever mix of materials, cuts, perfectly balanced, which made the reputation of Nina Ricci. Today, the house is best known for its perfume range, developed in 1941 by the designer's son Robert Ricci.
